All tours and transfers provided by Tu Tika Tours Limited are subject to these terms and conditions and any additional terms and conditions that may be provided by Tu Tika Tours Limited to the customer from time to time.  Within these terms and conditions “you” or “your” refers to the customer and “we”, “us” and “our” refers to Tu Tika Tours Limited.

All prices are in New Zealand Dollars and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (15%).

Payment in full is required at the time of booking.

A booking is confirmed (subject to availability) once received by us (via, Fareharbor website, email, telephone or any other means).  Once confirmed, bookings are non-transferable and are subject to our cancellation policy.

We will endeavour to adhere to the advertised tour details, however you accept that we have the right to alter elements of any tour at our sole discretion due to operational requirements.

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a tour or transfer for any reason including, bad weather, staff illness, or mechanical or other technical problems. If we cancel a tour, we will provide you with a full refund.

You acknowledge that, to the maximum extent possible under law, Tu Tika Tours Limited, its owners, directors and employees shall be excluded from all and any liability for injury, loss or damage to person or property resulting directly or indirectly from the provision of any tour or transfer.

You acknowledge that Tu Tika Tours Limited shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to property (including personal property such as bags, money or personal items) brought on a tour or transfer organised by Tu Tika Tours Limited.   Any personal property brought on a tour or transfer shall be at your own risk.

We highly recommend that you cover yourself against loss or injury by taking out comprehensive travel insurance. You never know what may happen and it may come in handy if the unexpected happens.

You acknowledge that we may refuse entry or remove you from a tour or transfer if you or anyone in your care is behaving in a drunken, disorderly or inappropriate manner. This includes not following instructions given by the driver or tour guide, which may lead to unnecessarily disturbing or harming wildlife, littering or placing yourself and/or others in possible or actual danger.

Cancellation Policy – Any cancellation by you of a confirmed booking made:

Set Tours – Cancellation by client: within 48hrs of booked tour – Non refundable, within 10 days of booked tour- 50% refund, before 10 days of booked tour – Full refund.

Customised Tours -Cancellation by client: within 14 days of booked tour – Non refundable, within 30 days of booked tour – 50% refund, before 30 days of booked tour – Full refund less $20 admin fee.

Virtual Tour – Cancellation by client: within 14 days of booked tour – Non refundable, up to 7 days before the Experience start time for a full refund, within 24 hours of booking as long as the booking is made more than 48 hours before the start time.

Transfers – Cancellation by client: within 24 hours of booked pickup – Non refundable, within 48 hours of booked pickup – 50% refund, before 48 hours of booked pickup – Full refund less $20 admin fee.

No Show – If you fail to report to the pick-up point advised by Tu Tika Tours Limited at the commencement time for your scheduled tour or transfer your booking will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.  Any refunds will be at the sole discretion of Tu Tika Tours Limited.

Health & Safety

Your safety is our number one priority.  When you book you must notify us of any medical conditions we should be aware of.  We will outline all health and safety guidelines at the commencement of your booked tour or transfer.

Covid 19 -Tu Tika Tours & Transfers management and staff are fully vaccinated and are following all covid 19 protocols.  You must advise us before commencing tour or transfer if you or any guests are unwell. Please refer to the Ministry of Health website for the latest covid 19 information in New Zealand.

These terms and conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with New Zealand law.  Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
